It may now become apparent, but I am on a bit of a wheatus bender at the moment. I have been listening to their new single 'Real Girl' on repeat all day (with breaks for NCIS and a Diagnosis Murder... as well as pancakes) anyway the video for Real Girl and the actual song Real Girl makes me simultaneously very happy and very sad.
and watching it yesterday i decided that i would draw the two (the Scarecrow and Elpheba) because such sweetness should not go un-drawn.
i got kind of frustrated with my colouring abilities here because i just can't seem to get skin colour right and that annoys me, however adding the shading lines hides my hideous shading, oh the cleverness of me.
You're very talented - I like the rest of your stuff too - but especially this. Have you been at any of the Wheatus shows? I'm just wondering whether we've ever met...
thank you very much, I really love this picture too, it's one of my favourites. I'm sad to say I've never been to a show, the last time Wheatus where in England i wasn't, i could have cried. so I'm afraid, unless it was under other circumstances, we have not met
